Advanced settings can be found on the right-hand margin when editing or creating a new Page content type.
- Menu Settings: These settings allow you to add the Page into the site's menu. To do so, make sure the checkbox next to "Provide a menu link" is selected.
- Menu Link Title: This will be the title that the Page will appear as in the menu.
- Description: Add a short description that will appear when hovering over the menu link.
- Parent Link: Select what menu the page will be under from the drop-down menu.
- Weight: Add a number value to weight the menu. This number value dictates the order that the page will appear in the menu. Menu links with lower weights are displayed before links with higher weights.
- Meta Tags: These are HTML tags used to provide additional information about a page to search engines and other clients (helps with SEO optimization).
- Basic Tags: Simple meta tags. Each field has descriptive text under it defining what the tag does and how to populate it.
- Advanced: Meta tags that might not be needed by many sites. Each field has descriptive text under it defining what the tag does and how to populate it.
- Open Graph: The Open Graph meta tags are used to control how Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn and other social networking sites interpret the site's content. The Facebook Sharing Debugger lets you preview how your content will look when it's shared to Facebook and debug any issues with your Open Graph tags. Each field has descriptive text under it defining what the tag does and how to populate it.
- Twitter Cards: A set of meta tags specially for controlling the summaries displayed when content is shared on Twitter. Each field has descriptive text under it defining what the tag does and how to populate it.
- Search API Exclude: Select this option to prevent the node from being indexed in search engine.
- Page Tools: A group of options that allows you to alter how the page is displayed/offers some alternate display options for the page.
- URL Alias: The URL alias is set to automatic by default. If you wish to create a custom URL alias, make sure the "Generate automatic URL alias" checkbox is not selected and fill in the URL alias with the desired custom alias.
